General Teams Info

  • Youth teams generally start preseason in February or March. Regular season practices and games run from early April through early June. Youth teams typically participate in 1-2 local tournaments.                                         

  • High School teams are no longer part of Capital City, rather are at various Madison area High Schools. 

    US Lacrosse Age Group And Eligibility

    Capital City and Badgerland Lacrosse League use USA Lacrosse rules, age grouping, and eligibility guidelines. 

    Our Boys Youth program is segmented by 2-year age groupings with a Sept 1 – Aug 31 “league age” definition, typically covering 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U ages.

    Our Girls Youth program has 2 teams: 14U (middle school) and 10U/11U (Elementary School).
